Sylia Wilson, PhD, Associate Professor and McKnight Land-Grant Professor in the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota, will present:

Understanding the Development and Familial Transmission of Psychopathology: Insights from Genetically and Causally Informative Studies

Dr. Wilson’s research examines the developmental origins of psychopathology, with a particular focus on major depression and substance use. Her work explores how early behavioral and emotional symptoms contribute to the development of these often co-occurring conditions across adolescence and adulthood.
